Outdoor Classroom
Since 2018, St. Jerome Early Childhood Center has embraced the beauty of God's creation through our Outdoor Classroom. This unique learning environment allows children to engage in hands-on experiences that support every area of development, including social-emotional, physical, cognitive, language, and spiritual growth.
Weather permitting, each class visits the Outdoor Classroom weekly from mid-September through April, where children have the opportunity to explore nature, ask questions, discover new concepts, and develop a deeper appreciation for God's world through purposeful play and outdoor learning.
