Dear Prospective Families,
We are happy that you stopped on our web page! We have so much to share about our very special school. St. Jerome Early Childhood Center is a faith-based preschool for students ages 2, 3 and 4. We believe that children learn through play and our classrooms are full of rich materials and activities that help them to explore and make discoveries. It is our pleasure to partner with you on your child's educational journey. Our teachers are qualified instructors with a heart for service. They help the children to reach their potential through developmentally appropriate practices. Our staff is honored to plant the seeds of faith in the hearts of our students, letting each one know that they are loved and valued by God and by their school family. We hope that you will stop in to see the excellent quality program we have offered for over 30 years. Peace, Phyllis Steele SJECC Administrator ![]()

The National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) is a professional membership organization that works to promote high-quality early learning for all young children, birth through age 8, by connecting early childhood practice, policy, and research. We advance a diverse, dynamic early childhood profession and support all who care for, educate, and work on behalf of young children. The association comprises nearly 60,000 individual members of the early childhood community and 52 Affiliates, all committed to delivering on the promise of high-quality early learning. Together, we work to achieve a collective vision: that all young children thrive and learn in a society dedicated to ensuring they reach their full potential.
